Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas!  Today's challenge is a SKETCH challenge.  I can't wait to show you what I created.

Isn't it a fun sketch?  I decided to make some back to school cards for my kids.  They are going into Grade 7 and Grade 11.  Where does it all go?  Here they are...

Love these little teddy bears SO much!  They are from Teddy Bear Parade, and I cut them on my Cricut.  The patterned paper is from an old Recollections package of school papers.  The sentiments are on a flag from Your Next Stamp's "Cool Tag 3"

The boy's sentiment is from Pretty Cute Stamps "Adorkable" and the girl's sentiment is from Craftin Desert Diva's "School Zone".

Die Cuttin Divas - Easter

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas!  Today's challenge is EASTER.  I can't wait to show you what I created.

I have been working at using my Cricut more this year.  I pull it out every winter, to make Christmas Tags, and then stop using it.  In an attempt to use what I have, I have been exploring some of my favorite cartridges, to find ways to use them more.  Teddy Bear Parade, was always one of my favorites!

I love this adorable Easter Bunny Bear!  She is purple, because it is my daughter's favorite colour.  The sentiment I used is from CTV Stamps "Happy Days" stamp set.  It's a great set, with SO many possibilities.

Be Merry

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas!  Today's challenge is a SKETCH.  I can't wait to show you what I created.

In today's challenge, we could pick ANY sketch we wanted from 2017.  I went back to February's sketch, and then took a little bit of creative license and turned it on it's side:

I did warn you that I would be using a lot of teddy bears over the next few weeks, and here's another one.  I love this cute little girl all bundled up in her coat.  She is from the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge.  The sentiment is from MFTs Snow Globe Sentiments.  I love the small size of these ones.

Here are all the sketches you can choose from:

Thinking of You

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas!  Today's challenge is THINKING OF YOU.  I can't wait to show you what I created.

A few weeks ago, I pulled out my Gypsy Girl and Cricut.  I then cut out 24 Teddy Bears from one of my favorite cartridges, Teddy Bear Parade.  So, be prepared, there are some cute teddy bears coming up in the next few weeks ;)

The bee bear, is one of my favorites.  She is on a mat from Elegant Edges, another great cartridge!  I embossed the bottom layer, it is meant to mimic the patterned paper.

The sentiment is from an old My Pink Stamper set - Thoughts of You.  I love her stamps, and really wish I owned more of them.

Keep Calm...

Happy Monday everyone!  We are mid-way through the Linky Party over at Craftin Desert Divas and it is Team B's Day to inspire you.  Tara challenged us to create a SUMMER project.  Here is what I created:

Isn't it a cutie?!?  I am so excited that summer may finally be arriving.  It was such a long winter here.  This cutie little mermaid is from Teddy Bear Parade Cricut cartridge - love that one...  The sun is from Doodlecharms.  I embossed the waves and her little fish body with some embossing folders i bought at a new LSS I went to last week.  That's also where I found the enamel dots.

The sentiment is from Summer Lovin.  It was my very FIRST CDD stamp set ever, and I just love it!  So many great sentiments on it.  You can buy your own at the Craftin Desert Divas Store.

I hope you all come play with us!  There is still one week left to link up.  We have 2 amazing sponsors for this Linky Party:

Just Bee-cause

Happy Saturday everyone!  I hope your weekend is off to a great start!  I have a cute project to share with you today using a fabulous stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas.  I just got this one in the mail a few weeks ago, though it has been on my wish list for quite a while.  Here it is:

Isn't it cute!?!  I find I'm pulling out my Cricut more often these days.  Teddy Parade was one of my favorite cartidges and the bee is SO cute!!  The paper is a digi page I bought on Etsy.  The enamel dots are from Michaels and I doodled around with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens.  Here is 'Lil Bit Buggie' stamp set.  You will LOVE it!!

I have a few more cards already made with this stamp set and a few more in my brain, so stay tuned!!

There is a link to this free SVG pattern somewhere in today's hop lineup.

Today I created a birthday card for my little girl.  Her birthday party is today and her 9th birthday is on Monday - I'm not sure where the time went!  I have been making a real effort to use the things I already have, and one of the things I still have is my Cricut.  I love my Silhouette, but have been enjoying creating with my Cricut again.  This card uses one of my all time favorite cartridges, "Teddy Bear Parade".

I am really happy with how my card turned out, though I just realized I didn't doodle on it!!  Gasp!  I always doodle.  I'm sure my daughter won't notice... So, the cute teddy bear and all her pieces are all cut at 3 1/2 inches.  The top half of the card is embossed with Cuttlebugs Birthday embossing folder.  The patterned papers were in my scrap box, they are from a Christmas pad I bought this year - maybe DCWV?  The patterned papers are from Bazzil and Recollections and the ribbon is from Stampin Up.  Now to tell you about the amazing sentiment!

I love, love, LOVE  this new Short & Sweet Tag set!  I love how easy they shapes are to use with the coordinating SVGs and I love each and every one of the sentiments.  For today, I chose to use the HB2U sentiment, and used the flagged banner to set it on.  Isn't it perfect!?!  I can see me using this set a TON!  Here is a close up of the sentiment and the flagged banner SVG.
