Happy Father's Day - Cardz TV Stamps

Happy Friday everyone!  It is challenge day over at Cardz TV!  I love these days, because I play with Mary's amazing stamps - I can always find the perfect sentiment, not matter the challenge!  Today Mary challenged us to create a  FATHER'S DAY PROJECT.  Here is what I came up with:

My first project is a card I made for my son to give my husband.  I used a freebie from SVG Cutting Files.  It was the first time I used one of their files, it cut really easily :)  The paper is a mix of SU and Recollections.  I doodled around with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens.  The stamps are both from Cardz TV's "You're the Man" sentiment set.  You can buy your own HERE!

On to my second creation for today:

This is a little tag that I made for my Dad for Father's Day.  My whole life, Dad wore a shirt and tie almost every day - he has been retired for YEARS and still wears one almost daily.  This seemed the perfect thing for him...  This is a free SVG file from My Scrap Chick.  She has a new freebie every week, and this was last weeks.  I created the shadow on my Cameo and voila - a cute little tag.  The paper is mostly Recollections except the pattern paper, which is old Creative Memories.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "Happy Days".  This is one of my go to sets of Mary's, I can always find a sentiment that is perfect for my card on it, it is really versatile.

Our challenge starts today and finshes Thursday June 13th at noon EST.  Hop on over to Cardz TV, see what all my talented DT sisters came up with to inspire you, and play along with us.  One lucky person will win a set of Cardz TV Stamps of their very own.  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Rain or Shine

Happy Tuesday everyone!  It is my day to share a project over at the Exploring Cricut blog.  Here is what I have today:

Cute, isn't it?  The cloud is from Simply Charmed and the sun is from Doodlecharms.  The cardstock is all from Recollections.  The patterned paper is digi paper that I downloaded.  I will have to do a search to find out from where...  I doodled around with my Sakura Jelly Roll and the ribbon is from Michaels.  The perfect sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "Heart to Heart".  You can buy your own HERE.

Don't forget that every day, each one of the designers has a Cricut creation to share with you.  We hope to inspire you to explore your Cricut cartridges and have lots of fun doing it!!  Be sure to pop by the blog everyday and be prepared to be amazed!

It is challenge day over at Exploring Cricut.  We have a great challenge for you today! We are showcasing SUMMER PROJECTS WITH AT LEAST 2 CRICUT CUTS.  Here is what I came up with:

Summer seems pretty far away right now.  Yesterday there was frost and the wind chill was -2!  It was chilly - so what I am most looking forward to about summer is some warmth and sun!!  I made this card with the hulu teddy from Teddy Bear Day Parade.  The sun is from Doodlecharms.  I tore some green paper to make the grass.  The paper is Recollections and Bazzil.  I doodle around with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens.  The perfect sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "A Day at the Beach" and you can buy your own stamps set right HERE.

Be sure to swing by Exploring Cricut and play along with us, you could win a great prize!  I can't wait to see what you find on your cartridges to inspire us.  Don't forget that there are new projects to inspire you every day on the blog, created by our amazing and talented Design Team.  I always love seeing what they create.

Buttons - Paperplaytime

Happy Monday everyone!  It's challenge day over at Paper Playtime.  Today, Janis challenged us to make a project showcasing BUTTONS!!  Here is what I came up with:

Isn't she cute??  Since I got my Cameo, I just can't stop making Hello Kitty cut files...  The paper is mostly from Recollections, though a bit is from my scrap box, so I'm not sure which company it's from.  The twine is from Doodlebug Designs.  The cute little sentiment is from K Andrews Designs.  Unfortunately she is closing her shop, so I don't think any of her stamps are available.

Please hop over to Paper Playtime, see what the rest of the Design Divas came up with, and play along with us.  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

A challenge or two:
I'll be back to play later :)

Isn't it pretty?  I know - not my normal style - I usually do cute...  The flowers are from Paper Lace.  It's a cartridge I don't use much, but I should - it's so lovely.  I cut the shadow and mounted it on my card, which is 5x5.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up.  I just doodled around it with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens.  The little bits of bling are from   my local Dollar Store.  The next stop is Kathy, so swing by and show her some love!
