Teacher You're the Best

Happy Friday everyone!!  It's Linky Party Day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Today's theme is Anything Goes, my favorite!  I created some gift card holders to use as end of the year gifts for the children's teachers.

Aren't these adorable??  The card holder and the pencil are both from SVG Cutting Files.  I LOVE the little face on the pencil.

The stamps set is from CTV Stamps School Zone set.  It is my "go to" set for school projects!  You can find it HERE.

I hope you all pop over to PDE Linky Party and play along with us!  It's so much fun to be inspired!!

Poppin' by to Say...

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It is my day to share a project over on the PPPR blog.  I am so excited to show you the project I created with Lisa's cute files!!

I created a shape card from the Movie Popcorn Cutting File.  I used my Silhouette to create it.  I thought it might make a fun card for a birthday party my son is going to next week.  He is giving the birthday boy a movie gift card.

The cute and perfect sentiment is from Pretty Cute Stamps Snack Time Stamp Set.  I LOVE this set.  It just arrived yesterday, and I made this card right away!!

I love how fast and easy this card came together and I think it's the perfect birthday card.

Holy Guacamole!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It is my day to share a project over on the PPPR blog.  I am so excited to show you the project I created with Lisa's cute files!!

A few months ago, Pretty Cute Stamps released a stamp set called Taco Time.  I adored the set and knew I had to buy it.  I emailed Lisa to ask if she was planning to make some coordinating SVG files, and she was!  So I waited patiently, and bought THOSE too.  Here is the first card I created with that set:

Is that not the cutest bowl of guacamole you have ever seen???  I just love how the nacho chip is peeking out the top.  The patterned paper is from CTMH, and the cardstock is from Recollections.  The little enamel dots are from Stampin Up, and the embossing folder I used on the grey background is from We R Memory Keepers.

This set of SVG files, called "Mexican Food" has some SERIOUSLY adorable cuts on it!  Look a the moustache on that taco - I think that's the next thing I will cut from this cute set!

The perfect sentiment is, of course from Taco Time from Pretty Cute Stamps.  The sentiments make me laugh, and make my kids laugh - how can you go wrong making people laugh?

Under the Sea Blog Hop!

If you are looking for my post for the Good Old Summertime Hop click HERE.

Happy Saturday everyone!  Welcome to Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons July Blog Hop!  If you are here from Melissa's blog, then you are in the right spot!  If you just stumbled onto this post, then be sure to start back at the beginning.

We are all showcasing ocean themed projects.  Nova Scotia is on the Atlantic, and I live a 2o minute drive from pounding surf.  It is rather amazing.  Here is what I created today:

I do love seahorses!  I even have one tattooed on my hip, from my rather rebellious youth.  I think this one is SO cute.  I can't wait to make her in more colors!  I used the Sweet Seahorse Cutting File.  She is even free right now!

The base of the card is this awesome Porthole Card cutting file!  I moved the waves around a little, so I could stamp a sentiment between them.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "A Day at the Beach" stamp set.  I just love this card :)

The blog candy for today's hop is $15 from the PPPR Store!  For your chance to win, you just have to follow all the blogs and comment on all the projects in today's hop.  You can get extra chances to win by following PPPR on Facebook HERE or by signing up for the PPPR Newsletter HERE.

Also, we have an Under the Sea Challenge going on until August 1st.  You can link up any ocean themed project featuring a PPPR file by then, for the chance to win a $20 gift certificate.  All details are HERE.

The next stop along the way is the talented Nanné.  Be sure to show her some love!

Teacher Gift

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It is my day to share a project over on the PPPR blog.  My kids just finished school yesterday - YES I said YESTERDAY...  I wanted to make a quick project for my daughter's teacher.  Here is what I came up with:

This was the fastest teacher gift I have ever made!!  AND it's awesome!!  I used the  Fancy Pillow Box 2 Cutting File.  It perfectly fit 20 beautiful pencils, and it has a fun label that I used to stamp some cute sentiments from CDD's School Zone stamps set.  I think I make this every school year as a First Day of School gift for teachers.  Is there a better way to start the year than with new pencils?

Be sure to visit the PPPR blog every day, there is always inspiration to be found!
