Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas!  Today's challenge is to create anything BOOK RELATED for NATIONAL LIBRARY DAY.  I can't wait to show you what I created.

I truly love Harry potter, so I decided to make a cute bookmark.  I found the bookmark in the Silhouette Store.  The lightning bolt is from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Wizards set.  The sentiment and Harry himself are from Jaded Blossom's "My Favorite Wizard".  I am so happy with how this turned out!

Die Cuttin Divas - Buttons

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas!  Today's challenge is to use BUTTONS.  I can't wait to show you what I created.

It's Hello Kitty Harry Potter!!  I LOVE her!  She is cut on my Silhouette using a retired file from an old SVG Cutting Files Blog Hop.  She ended up HUGE - totally my fault, so I made a slightly larger card than I normally do.  I'm sure my girl won't mind... we are reading the Harry Potter series together, as I did with my son, and we both love Hello Kitty!

I decided to incorporate the buttons in 2 ways.  I have a big stash of random buttons that I bought at Walmart, sometimes finding a pair is a serious challenge!  I used a button for her bow, and also as a decorative element on the side of the card.

I sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's "My Favorite Wizard" and was the perfect compliment to this card.

Die Cuttin Divas - Camping

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas!  Today's challenge is Camping Fun with Woodland Creatures.  I can't wait to show you what I created.

I LOVED this challenge theme!  Anyone who knows me, knows my kids go to a number of camps each summer.  I always send them cards to open while they're there.  This one went with my daughter to a Girl Guide camp.  The little critter is from an SVG Cutting Files set.  You can find it HERE.

Unicorn Pusheen Cat

My daughter and her friends are all into Pusheen Cats these days.  One of her best friend's birthdays was last week, so I made this card for her to give.  The Pusheen Cat Unicorn is from an old SVG Cutting Files Blog Hop.  The card base, is from SVG Cutting Files' Ornate Card Bases.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's ""Hello Hello" sentiment set.

Hello Birthday Girl

Happy Tuesday everyone!!  I am guest designer today over at Die Cuttin Divas .  I can't wait to show you what I created.

Do you love her?  My sweet niece turned 6 last week, and I created this fun card for her.  The unicorn and stars are from Miss Kate Cuttables.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom.

Hello Coffee Lover!

I recently picked up this cute little owl stamp set at my LSS - I LOVE it, it's too cute!  It is from Your Next Stamp, where I also picked up the frame die that the owl is resting on.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's "Hello Hello" set.

Hello Cutie

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a TAG project. Here is what I created:

I am a little bit in love with this tag! I have coveted the "Treat Tag Die" from Jaded Blossom for a long time.  This Christmas, my kids gave it to me for Christmas, along with the "Hello Hello" stamp set.  Where my adorable sentiment came from.

The chickie is from Craftin Desert Divas.  It is a sweet 3x2 stamp set.  I bought the SVG to cut around it, but wanted to challenge myself to use the PixScan mat again.  I still hadn't quite figured out the border width, but I LOVE her!  She is colored with my PrismaColor Pencils and Gamsol.

PDE Linky Party - Sketch

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to use a SKETCH to create this project. Here is what I created.

I used the sketch as inspiration, but took a few liberties with it from there ;)

Isn't it cute??  Instead of using grass for the border edge, I used clouds - they are from Your Next Stamp the Puffy Cloud Die.  Instead of the scalloped circle, I used a cloud - Craftin Desert Divas "The Sky is the Limit" stamp and Die set. I even embossed some clouds on my background paper.  LOVE IT!!  

I chose a cute little unicorn as my focal image.  It is from Avery Elle's "Be a Unicorn" stamps and dies.  I colored her in with my Prismacolor Pencils and used some Gamsol to blend them.

The cute "Smile" sentiment is from Jaded Blossoms "Lunch Box Notes 2" stamp set.  You can find it HERE.

Happy 1st Day of School

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a BACK TO SCHOOL project. Here is what I created.

My kids still have almost a month before they go back to school, we still have almost a month of summer left!  I decided to go simple on this card.  I had a cute pad of Doodlebug School paper, and decided to highlight that, rather than an image than I usually do.  

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's "Lunch Box Notes 2".  It has some great sentiments on it!

Cheers to You

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It is my day to share a project over on the PPPR blog.  I am so excited to show you the project I created with one of  Lisa's cute files!! 

I just recently bought this fun Happy Hour file.  I thought it would be perfect for adult birthdays.  I plan to put an NSLC gift card inside.  In Nova Scotia, you can only buy liquor in the Liquor Store, so you can get gift cards just for booze :)  

This is the Happy Hour file.  I think it is ADORABLE!!  I love their cute little faces.  The Beer Glass, was such an amazingly easy file to cut out and layer.

Let's Go Glamping

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Today Miss Janis, challenged us to create a CAMPING project.  Here is what I created.

We went camping last week with friends, and I created this little tag to add to their Thank You gift.  The tag is from Jaded Blossom's "Luggage Tag Dies."

The sentiment and camper is from "The Great Outdoors" stamp set, also from Jaded Blossom.  I water colored the whole thing with my Tim Holtz Distress Inks.
