Unicorn Pusheen Cat

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a GIRLY CARD project. Here is what I created.

My daughter and her friends are all into Pusheen Cats these days.  One of her best friend's birthdays was last week, so I made this card for her to give.  The Pusheen Cat Unicorn is from an old SVG Cutting Files Blog Hop.  The card base, is from SVG Cutting Files' Ornate Card Bases.  The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's ""Hello Hello" sentiment set.

Planner Dividers

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a ANYTHING GOES project. Here is what I created.

I am dipping my toe in the planner pool.  I won a Carpe Diem Planner and a bunch of supplies at a crop a few months ago, so I thought I would give it a whirl.

I wanted some dividers, so I decided to make some.  They are very simple.  I used some Simple Stories paper, and the tab maker from We R Memory Keepers.  The letters are from an old CTMH alphabet stuff I found in my collection.  It turns out I have no Month stamps - who knew??

Happy Spring!

I used a beautiful stamp set from Flourishes to create this card.  I chalked most of the color, and used some markers for the flowers and grass.

Magnetic Book Mark

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create an ANYTHING BUT A CARD project. Here is what I created.

I decided to make a magnetic book mark, after seeing an easy tutorial on You Tube.  I covered up the magnets on the inside with matching cardstock.  

The stamps and sentiment are from MFT's Magical Unicorn stamp set.  I love this one!!  I coloured them with my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.  I love how it turned out!

I Otterly Adore You

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It is my day to share a project over on the PPPR blog.  I am so excited to show you the project I created with Lisa's cute files!!

Is he cute or what?!?  I used the Little Otter files.  He is so easy to cut and I love him!  I decided to make a shape card.  I created that with the Pool Fun Title file.  I stood it up on it's end, and welded two of them together - voila!  A shape card!

The sentiment is from an adorable My Favorite Things stamp set "Otterly Love You"

I Believe In You Tag

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a TAG project. Here is what I created.

I am LOVING MFT stamps these days!!  Colouring has always been a real challenge for me, and I am SO excited to finally be more comfortable with it - it has also expanded the stamp sets that I can buy - I know my hubby is really excited about that ;) 

The stamp set is Magical Unicorns by My Favorite Things.

The sentiment is from Avery Elle's Unicorn stamp set.

The tag, is one of my favorites!  It is from Jaded Blossom, it is their Treat Tag Die.  I debated about buying this one for a long time, and am SO HAPPY that I did!  I LOVE it!

Happy Birthday Pig!

Happy Monday everyone!  It appears the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.  A week or so ago, my daughter decided that she wanted to make her own card with the MFT Pig stamp set.  She wanted to learn to colour it "just like me", so I showed her how to use Prismaclor Pencils and Gamsol, and I think she hit it out of the park!!  Take a look at what my 11 year old created :)

Isn't it adorable??  She was SO proud of herself.  She created the background with Tim Holtz Distress Inks.  The piggie is coloured with Prismacolor Pencils.  The stamp set is MFTs Hog Heaven.  

I love that she wants to learn to craft.  It melts my heart when she says things like "I want to be able to craft like you Mum".  I hope as she gets older, we will spend lots of time crafting together!
