Die Cuttin Divas - Cherry Blossom Festival

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas!  Today's challenge is CHERRY BLOSSOMS or PINK.  I can't wait to show you what I created.

I found this pretty card file in the Silhouette Store.  It cut so easily!  The sentiment is from an old Flourishes stamp set.

Be sure to pop over to the Die Cuttin Divas blog, to see what my fellow Divas created, and please play along with us!  I can't wait to see what you created!

Be Still

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It's challenge day over at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a project INSPIRED by a PHOTO.  Here is the photo, we were inspired by:

I was struggling a bit, and was planning to just be inspired by the fabulous colours, then I remembered a stamp set I have from Flourishes, that could be perfect!  Here is what I created:

I have to be honest - despite my struggle - I LOVE this card!!  I coloured the image with chalk and my SU markers.  The sentiment, which I adore, is from another Flourishes stamp set.  I then used an embossing folder, to create the background.

I hope you all play along with us!  I can't wait to see what you create!  Be sure to join us every week!

Happy Spring!

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a SPRING project. Here is what I created.

I used a beautiful stamp set from Flourishes to create this card.  I chalked most of the color, and used some markers for the flowers and grass.

I hope you all play along with us!  I can't wait to see what you create!  Be sure to join us every week!  Our "schedule" is below.

Paper Playtime - Anything Goes

Happy Monday everyone!  It's challenge time over at Paper Playtime.  It is a "Say it With Sentiments" Anything Goes challenge, so let your imagination go wild, just be sure to use a sentiment on your project.  Here is what I came up with:

Last week at The Cutting Garden, a LSS, I took a gatefold class.  We used Spellbinders to create them , but I figured out how to do it with my Cricut!  It saved me a couple of hundred dollars, cause now I don't need to buy 6 or 8 sets of Spellbinders.  My hubby was very happy...

I used the Flourishes stamps set Sweet Days of Summer.  I am loving these stamp sets!  I colored a little with my SU pens, and used some stickles on the flowers - though it's a bit hard to see in the pic.  I designed parts of the card on my Gypsy Girl.

The card stock I used is from Michael's.  The "patterned paper" is actually washi tape from Freckled Fawn.  They are our sponsor this week, and were kind enough to give the DT some tape to play with.  It's pretty, isn't it.  The ribbon is from Michael's.

As I said, our sponsor this week is Freckled Fawn, they are giving one luck participant a $15 gift certificate! So, hop over to Paper Playtime, see what the DT came up with and play along with us :)

A challenge or two for my little card:
Card Crafters Circle - sentiment
Robyn's Fetish - anything goes
Crafty Ann's - it's a girl thing
Inspire me Fridays - anything goes
Sentimental Sundays - summer fun
Sweet Stampin Challenge - summer fun
Polka Doodle - summer scene

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope to see you again soon!

52 Questions - Favorite Verse or Quote

Happy Friday!  It is challenge day over at Pause Dream EnjoyChallenges.  Today Janis challenged us to make a project featuring our favorite verse or quote.  Here is what I came up with:

This is one of the first bible verses I memorized as a little girl.  I always thought it was a verse about Thanksgiving - (the action, not the holiday)...  Thanking God for all He has created.  The stamps are both from Flourishes - the bunny is from Spring is Sprung, and the verse is from Lenten Roses.  The tag is cut from Plantin Schoolbook.  I colored the image with my SU chalks and my Prismacolor Pencils.  This coloring thing is still new for me - and using chalk t do anything other than color in cheeks, was a bit intimidating but, on the whole, I am pleased with what I created!  The paper is all from Recollections and the ribbon is Michaels.

I hope you come on over to Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges, see what the DT came up with, and play along with us!  There is a chance to win too :)  June will have TWO winners!  A Canadian winner and an American winner!!  They will each win a beautiful Close to my Heart stamp set!

The Canadian consultant is Darla Haverstock - here are links to her BLOG and STORE

The American Consultant is Lucy Kelleher - here are links to her BLOG and her STORE

A challenge or two for my tag:
Divas by Design - anything goes
Simon Says Challenges - anything goes
Crafty Sentiments - anything goes
Craft a Scene - may flowers
Stampin Sisters in Christ - add a technique you are afraid of (chalking, well coloring in general...)
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges - anything goes
Bearly Mine Challenges - animal kingdom
Everybody Art Challenges - anything but a card
Flourishes - thank you card or tag - this may be stretching it a bit, but it is a tag about giving thanks - hopefully it counts...

I hope everyone enjoys a gorgeous weekend - the weather looks like it may be starting to clear here after a week of cold and rain!  Hope you all get a little time to craft!
