Be Still

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It's challenge day over at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a project INSPIRED by a PHOTO.  Here is the photo, we were inspired by:

I was struggling a bit, and was planning to just be inspired by the fabulous colours, then I remembered a stamp set I have from Flourishes, that could be perfect!  Here is what I created:

I have to be honest - despite my struggle - I LOVE this card!!  I coloured the image with chalk and my SU markers.  The sentiment, which I adore, is from another Flourishes stamp set.  I then used an embossing folder, to create the background.

Carta Bella Flora 2 Tri Fold Folio

 Happy Wednesday everyone!  It's challenge day over at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create an ANYTHING GOES project. Here is what I created.

I created this Tri Fold Folio, following a tutorial on You Tube by Frances Long.  I will link her tutorial below.  I used the FLORA 2 paper pack from Carta Bella for this folio.  I LOVE how it turned out.

Hi Honey!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It's challenge day over at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a Summer Bugs project. Here is what I created.

I seem to be in a tag frame of mind these days...  This little tag is one of my favorites in my tag collection.  It is from Jaded Blossom.  The cute little bee, which I painted with watercolours, is from Craftin Desert Divas, and the sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps.  I decided to jazz up the background a little, by flicking some Tim Holtz Distress Ink om it.  I think she's pretty cute!

Hello Piggie

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It's challenge day over at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a Down on the Farm project. Here is what I created.

I just love these cute little piggies!  This is the first time I have used the little angel pigs.  I colored him up with my Prismacolor Pencils.  The stamp set is from MFTs Hog Heaven.  The tag is from Jaded Blossom.

Hi Friend

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It's challenge day over at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create an EMBOSSING project. Here is what I created.

I used both dry and wet embossing.  The frog was embossed before I colored it with Prismacolor Pencils.  Then I used an embossing folder to do the layer underneath the frog.  I think this frog is the CUTEST!!  It is from Your Next Stamp's "Froggie Friend."
