Die Cuttin Divas - Shaker Card

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas!  Today's challenge is to create a 3D, SHAKER or SHAPE project.  I can't wait to show you what I created.

I decided to make a shaker card and I LOVE it!!!  I found a similar card to this on Pinterest, and decided I needed to make it, and make it shake!  The stamp set is MFTs "Warm and Fuzzy Friends".  The sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "Summer Fun".  The mat is cut from Jaded Blossom's "Card Mat Dies".

The sky behind the shaker portion, is inked with my Tim Holtz Distress Inks.  I used some silver stars that I picked up from Michael's as the shaker.

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a CARD project. Here is what I created.

Isn't it adorable??  I took a class at my LSS last week on shaker cards, and it was SO much fun!  I have struggled with shaker cards for years and somehow it all came into focus for me!  I decided to create a mini shaker for my sentiment.  It is pretty cute!  

The adorable yeti is from one of my favorite new stamp sets.  It's from MFT's Beast Friends.  I cut it out with my PixScan - the offset is a bit too big, but for my first time, it went SO much better than I feared it was going to.  I colored the image in with PrismaColor and Gamsol.

Happy Monday everyone!  We are mid-way through the Linky Party over at Craftin Desert Divas and it is Team B's Day to inspire you.  Tara challenged us to create a Shaker Card project.  

I've got to be honest.  This was a real stretch for me.  My Design Team sisters are AMAZING at these!!  I have never made one before and was pretty intimidated.  Here is what I created:

I went very simple.  I got inspiration from THIS card and watched a few You Tube videos, took a deep breath and just created.  I am fairly happy with this card, but I hope it gets easier with practice!  This was pretty stressful ;)
