Craftin Desert Divas June Release Day 1

Today is Day 1 of the sneak peeks for the June stamp release at Craftin Desert Divas. We have 7 new stamp sets (3 - 4x6 stamps & 4 - 2x3 stamps) and 3 die sets.

Today we are showcasing the 2x3 stamp sets Sweet Wishes, Wanna Hug, Wish Upon a Star, Crabby and the Outdoor Landscape Dies!  We are doing things slightly differently today - we are showcasing the new releases on Facebook.  You can find my Facebook page HERE.

Here is what I created for today.  My project features the Sweet Wishes 2x3 stamp set.

I decided to break out my Cricut for this one.  I loved the idea of making a cute cherry to go along with this cute sentiment!  The cherry is from the Preserve cartridge.  Her cutie face is from "The Sky is the Limit" stamp set, that was part of last month's release, and the tag is from CDD's Tag Essentials Die.  I just LOVE this die!  I am so glad I added it to my collection!  You can add the Tag Die and the Sky is the Limit stamp set to your collection today!  But you will have to wait till Friday to pick up the adorable Sweet Wishes set...

Each day, there will be a new FREE SVG pattern.  You can email craftindesertdivas@gmail.com to request it. You must comment and "like" each facebook fan page in order to get the free file. Join us this Friday and Saturday for our blog hop and more free files!!

Here is today's freebie:

Stamps and dies will be available to order on Friday.
Stamps and Dies are made in the USA

We hope you will stop by the Craftin Desert Divas Shop and the Craftin Desert Divas Gallery Facebook group. We would love for you to join us and share your creations with us using Craftin Desert Divas' stamps.

Be sure to join us tomorrow, for Day 2 of the sneak peeks!

Teacher Thanks

Happy Friday everyone!  I wanted to pop on today to share a quick project with you.  Last week I bought the amazing Tag Essentials Dies.  Yesterday, I opened them up and started playing. They are awesome, and it is SO easy to put together quick projects with them.  I have already made 3 different tags - I can only show you one today, because the other  two are for next week's CDD Stamps June Release.

Here is what I created this morning:

My kids are finishing school next week.  I decided to make some cute little "Thank you" tags to add to their Teacher gifts.  The apple is from Create a Critter.  The paper is all from Recollections.

The tag is from CDDs Tag Essentials Dies.  The banner and sentiment are both from  Short and Sweet Tags, and I used the free SVGs to cut out the banner base.

Be sure to visit me next week.  I'll have 2 more creations with this fun tag die, and some sneak peeks of CDD June Release.  Have a great weekend!

S'more Fun

Happy Wednesday everyone!!  It's my day to share a project with on the PPPR blog, using Lisa's super cute SVGs.  So, let's get to it!

My children go to a number of camps each summer, and I always make cards for them to receive while they are away.  I found some really cute files in the store, and decided to use this cutie campfire and marshmallows:

Isn't it fun??  I just love the campfire's happy face.  Both files come from the Smores Cutting Files.  You can find it HERE.  I love this file so much that I created a couple of cards with the different cuts, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more camp cards for the kids Using this great PPPR file!

The paper is from Recollections, and the sentiment is from CDDs "Destination Fun" sentiment set.  I know one of the kids will love getting this cute card!

Father's Day.

Happy Monday everyone!  We are mid-way through the Linky Party over at Craftin Desert Divas and it is Team B's Day to inspire you.  Tara challenged us to create a FATHER'S DAY project.  Here is what I created:

I made a little Father's Day album for my husband.  I used pictures from a little photo shoot we did last fall.  This is the cover page.  It uses Capture the Good Times and Happy Celebrations.

Here is the second page.  Aren't my munchkins cute??  Both these pages use sentiments from Happy Thoughts.  I love the sentiments on that stamp set!

Here is the third set of pages:

The sentiment on the page with my daughter is from Say it Big.  I love the grin on her face, and "smile" seemed to be the perfect sentiment for it.

The page with the picture of my son, uses one of my favorite sentiments from Simply Said.

Here is the back side of the album:

And the very back page of the album:

Both of these pages, use sentiments from Sew Raggedy.  Don't ya love the "made for me by you" sentiment?  I think it's perfect for the final page of any album.

I hope you all come play with us!  There is still one week left to link up.  We have 2 amazing sponsors for this Linky Party:

1 stamp set of the winners choice

$25 in regular price files

I can't wait to see what you create!!

We are sharing Totally Awesome 80s projects, featuring design from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  Here is what I  created for today:

Isn't it a fun card?  I created it with a fun new file that Lisa created called 80's Child.  I remember lots of these from when I was a kid - I remember wanting a Swatch watch more than life itself - I never did get one :)

I have a Darice Embossing folder that has dominoes on it.  I thought it would be perfect for this card.  The sentiment and dice stamp that I used in the background are from Cardz TV Stamps "Fun and Games" stamp set.

There is some GREAT blog candy!  First, there is a freebie available on Saturday and Sunday.  Then it will be available in the store.

Second, there is a $15 gift certificate for PPPR up for grabs!  To have a chance at winning it, follow all the blogs in today's hop and be sure to comment on all our projects.  For extra chances be sure to follow PPPR on Facebook and you can sign up for the PPPR Newsletter.

What's Shakin Bacon?

Happy Friday everyone!!  I am popping on to share a cute card I created with "Just Pigcause" one of my newest Craftin Desert Divas stamp sets.  I love all the cute sentiments, but I think this may be one of my favorites...

Isn't it cute??  I thought this little SVG set from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons was perfect for the sentiment!  I even put the bacon on an Action Wobble, so the bacon ACTUALLY shakes.

Fun, isn't it?  I embossed the background with an embossing folder I picked up at a LSS, and did some doodling with my Sakura Jelly Roll Pens.  Here is a picture of the stamp set I used, so you can see all the cuteness:

I'll be back tomorrow with a Blog Hop, so be sure to come back!

For Your Piggybank

Happy Friday everyone!!  I am popping on to share a cute project I made with my newest Craftin Desert Divas stamp set.  I have wanted Just Pigcause since it first came out, and I finally added it to my collection just a few weeks ago.  Here is what I came up with:

I love this little piggy bank that I found in the Silhouette Store.  She is ADORABLE!!  Then I found the perfect sentiment for her, on my Just Pigcause stamp set!  I did some inking on the little pieces to help them show up better.  I stamped the sentiment on the SVG that coordinates with the Tag It set.  It was the perfect background.  I just doodled around it, and LOVE how it turned out.
