Have a Moovelous Day

Happy Sunday everyone!  I am popping on today to share a quick little project I made with my Craftin Desert Divas stamps.  I have always LOVED cows, and I couldn't wait to get my hands on Tara's "Simply Moovelous" stamp set.  

One of my New Years Resolutions - at least my crafty one, is not to spend money on more "stuff" - well except paper and adhesives - unless I absolutely HAVE to.  So, I am trying to use my Cricut more - I have TONS of cartridges and my Gypsy girl still functions and I have always loved her, so I am determined to use her more.  So, with that in mind, here is what I created:

Isn't it cute??  Create a Critter is one of my favorite cartridges.  I love all the cute, simple animals on it.  I decided this cow was the perfect way to showcase this cute sentiment.  The sun is also from a Cricut Cartridge.  It is from Doodlecharms, and was my "go to" sun.  I actually have a little bag of these pre-cut in my craft room.  It's been a while since I used them.  The paper is mostly Recollections except the patterned paper, which was a freebie I found online.  I did some doodling, and VOILA!  A super cute cow card to start the year off right.

Here is the stamp set I built this project around.  Isn't it awesome?  I love all the cute sentiments and I think those cows are adorable!!  I am going to be making a few more projects with this set in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for more cuteness!  If you LOVE this set as much as I do, you can pick your own up HERE.

Funky Snowman

Happy New Years everyone!  It's my day to create a project for Miss Kate Cuttables blog.  I am SO excited to share what I have created for today!

Don't you love that funky snowman?  I know I do!!  You can find him HERE.  I know Christmas is done, but winter is just getting started here in the Maritimes, so the is plenty of time for wintery projects.

The paper is all from Michaels and old CTMH.  The sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas "Snowman Kisses".

Class Rules - Teacher Gift

Happy Tuesday everyone!  It's linky party day over at Pause Dream Enjoy.  Today, Janis challenged us to make an ANYTHING GOES project!!  Here is what I created:

This is the first time I have made a project like this.  I was pretty nervous, but I'm pretty happy with the results!  It was far from perfect and I needed to touch things up, but it went much better than I feared!  I used the Paint - Vinyl - Paint- Peel method.  It's a great way to put my old tole painting supplies to work!  I typed her teacher's name along the side, and got the "rules" at the Silhouette Store # 63674.

Happy Freezin Season

Hi everyone, it's my day to share a project over at Craftin Desert Divas.  I have a super cute tag set to share with you today.  Of course, I used Tara's amazing stamp sets to create my project!  Here it is:

Isn't it cute?!?  I just LOVED the sentiment and thought the penguin was the perfect choice for it.  I have been trying to use my Cricut a bit more, since it has been sitting in my craft room gathering dust since I got my Silhouette.  This penguin is from Create a Critter 2.  His cutie face is from PK Stamps.  My Silhouette came in handy too, because the tag shape is an SVG from Craftin Desert Divas!  It was free with purchase of the Tag It stamp set.  Here is a pic of all those cute penguins together:

Below is a close up of the sentiment, so you can see how perfect the font is.

I used the "November Freebie" stamp set to for the sentiment, and the "Tag It" set for the tag base.  You can buy your own in the Craftin Desert Divas Shop HERE.

Happy Tuesday everyone!  It is my day to post a project over at the Cardz TV Gallery.  There is a new project there every day but Sunday.  You can find cards, layouts, 3-D projects, anything crafty!  Here is what I have to share today:

I really enjoy making Christmas tags.  Every year, I make well over 100, using them for gifts and also to attach to every gift from our home.  The tag shape is from TBBM, the manger scene is from the Silhouette Store.  I embossed it with my Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder, and the paper and ribbon are from Michaels.
