Red, White and Blue - Craftin Desert Divas

Happy Monday everyone!  We are mid-way through the current Linky Party at Craftin Desert Diva's, and it is Team B's turn to inspire you!  Tara challenged us to create a RED, WHITE and BLUE project.  Here is what I have created for today:

Isn't it cute??  The cutie little crab is from Miss Kate Cuttables.  The tag shape was created by my friend Janis of Pause Dream Enjoy, she made it in Silhouette Studio.  The cardstock is from Recollection and the patterned paper is old Creative Memories.  I picked up some cute enamel dots at my LSS.  I doodled around with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens.  The cutie sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas "Simply Said" set.  You can buy it HERE.

I made a funny 4x8 1/2 card using the Crocs Rule Cricut cartridge.  I think it turned out super cute!  The paper is a mish mash of stuff from my scrap box.  I embossed the croc with the Tiny Bubbles embossing folder.  The pink ribbon is for Michaels and of course, the perfect sentiment is from the new Be Inspired stamp set.

Fishy Kisses

Happy Tuesday everyone!  It's linky party day over at Pause Dream Enjoy.  Today, Janis challenged us to make a project showcasing lots of LAYERS!!  I gotta be honest, this a challenge that stumped me a little, but here is what I created:

So, the tag shape, fish and waves are all from Miss Kate Cuttables.  Each paper item on the tag, including the tag itself has 2 or more layers.  The paper is mix of Bazzil and Recollections.  The sentiment is from an old set I bought that is no longer available.  I think they were called Simply Sweet Stamps.

June Release Sneak Peek

Are you ready to get the sneak peeks started? I am!!!

Welcome to Day 2 of our June stamp release party!! Each day we will be giving you a sneak peek at one of the four new stamp sets. Then, on Tuesday and Wednesday, we will have a blog hop with prizes each day. The design team has some amazing creations to start this stamp release party.

Today we are showcasing the Be Inspired stamp set.

All of the new stamps are 4x6 and Made in the USA.

Here's the project I created:

Anyone who visits my blog regularly, will know that this is not my normal project.  I tend to like cute creations, but as soon as I saw this sentiment I wanted to use this image - it just feels peaceful.  The image is from Flourishes Cherry Blossom set.  I colored it with Prisma Color Pencils and Gamsol.  The cardstock is all from Michael's and I bought the pearls at my local Dollorama.

Happy Friday everyone!  I am popping on today to share a quick little project I made for Father's Day.  I had such a busy week, I didn't get a chance to share it.  Here it is:

Isn't it cute?  The Kawaii Tie and the card base are both from SVG Cutting Files.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "You're the Man".  The paper is mostly from Recollections, but the patterned paper is really old Ccreative Memories from my stash - it is possible I may have a problem...  I did some doodling with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens and some inking with my Tim Holtz Distress Inks and VOILA!  A cute Father's Day card.

Favorite Color - Craftin Desert Divas

Happy Monday everyone!  We are mid-way through the current Linky Party at Craftin Desert Diva's, and it is Team B's turn to inspire you!  Tara challenged us to create a project with our favorite color.  Here is what I have created for today:

Isn't it cute?  I come and go with my favorite color - some days it's green, other days blue, but these days it is more often than not pink.  

I haven't been using my Cricut much since getting my Silhouette, but I have been pulling my Gypsy Girl out in the past few weeks and doing some creating with my cartridges. This is from Teddy Bear Parade, one of my favorites!   I cut her at 3 1/2 inches.  The card stock is a mix of Michaels, Bazzil and Stampin Up.  The patterned paper is from my scrap box, I only have a small piece left.  I did some doodling with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens, and the perfect sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas "Perfect Pair".  You can buy your own HERE.

S'more Fun - Craftin Desert Divas

Happy Sunday everyone!  It is my day to share a project over at Craftin Desert Divas and I just love what I have created!!  I send cards to my children while they are at camp, and this is going to be for my daughter.  I used Tara's amazing  stamp set to create this card, and you can buy your own HERE.

Do you love it??  The cutie smores are from Too Cute by Jessica's Camping Out set.  I used some Peachy Keen stamps to ink up their faces and I doodled with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens.  The embossing folder is from Stampin Up and the buttons were purchased at Walmart.  The paper is old CTMH and from Michaels.   Below is a close up of my sentiment, so you can see just how cute the font is.

Below is a picture of the Destination Fun stamp set.  It has SO many fun sentiments.  They are perfect for my cards for my kids!  They are each going to three camps this year, so I have to get cracking!

Hang Ten - PDE Linky Party

Happy Tuesday everyone!  It's linky party day over at Pause Dream Enjoy.  Today, Janis challenged us to make a project showcasing THE BEACH OR OCEAN!!  Here is what I created:

Is that adorable or what?  I love the little surfing bear.  He is from Kadoodle Bug Designs.  I cut him out of Recollections paper and inked him with Tea Dye Distress Ink from Tim Holtz.  The sun is from Doodlecharms, it is one of my favorites.  The cloud is also from a Cricut cartridge, though I don't remember which - I have a little bag of clouds in a box on my desk and throw them on cards whenever I feel they need it.  I doodled around with my Sakura Jelly Roll pen. The sentiment is from Cratin Desert Divas "Summer Lovin" set. You can buy your own HERE.

Do you love it?  The fancy fold card base is from SVG Cutting Files it is their Centered Step Edged Bracket Card Base.  hello Kitty was a freebie from my sweet friend Ruthie.  The paper is mostly from CTMH and my scraps boxes.  The button is from Walmart and the twine is from Doodlebug Designs.  The "Hello" is from Craftin Desert Diva "Simply Said" set.  This is the first card I made with this set, which just arrived in my mail box last week.  I am LOVING it!  Perfect sentiments for SO many occasions!  You can buy your own HERE.
