Happy Tuesday everyone! If you are looking for my Cardz TV anything goes DT project, click HERE. I have a wedding card to share with you today. But, first things first, this card is NOT my original idea - the talented and brilliant GiGi from The Cricut Bug, created a card that took my breath away. As soon as I saw it, I knew I needed to make one too. HERE is GiGi's gorgeous card. Here is my take on her card:
The couple are cut from Sweet Hearts, and the mat they are on is from Elegant Edges. I mad the couple really large on my Gypsy girl, so I could put their upper bodies on the mat. While GiGi's card was white on white, I decided to use a cream for my base - I think I like the coloring. I embossed her dress and her veil, and also the background . The sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms - Wedding Centers. I did a bit of doodling with my Sakura Jelly Roll pen. On the inside of the card - which I forgot to take a picture of before I wrote in it - I used the sentiment "Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale." I LOVE that sentiment :)
A challenge or two for my wedding card:
Amusing Challenges - anything goes
Poodles Parlour - anything goes
4 Crafty Chicks - wedding
Penny's Paper Challenge - wedding/anniversary
Thanks for visiting today - I will be back tomorrow with my Cricut Cardz Challenge DT project.

Paper Playtime - Summer Banner
Happy Monday! I'm back :) If you are looking for the mini album I made for Cardz TV anything goes challenge, click HERE. If you are looking for my Exploring Cricut Disney project, click HERE. Today is challenge day over at Paper Playtime. It is the 5th Monday of the month, so it is a one week Anything Goes Challenge. Here is what I came up with:
I made a spring banner, which you can see HERE and the kids loved it! I decided that I needed to make a summer banner. I think it turned out really cute!
The suns I used for the base of each piece of the banner, are all from Create a Critter. They are cut at 6 inches, and I welded small circles to the top of each sun for the ribbon. The yellow and pink papers are from Bazzil and the black is Recollections.
The letters I chose are from Cutting Up. I cut them at 3 inches. The crab is cut at 1.75 inches and castle is cut at 2 inches. They are both from Create a Critter (CAC)- I love that cartridge :)
The beach ball is cut at 3 inches and is from Simply Charmed (SC), another super cute cartridge!
The kite iscut at 3.1 inches on my Gypsy girl, and is from Create a Critter.
The popsicle is cut at 2.8 inches and is from SC and the cutie fire cut at 2 inches from CAC.
The bucket and pail is cut at 3 inches from SC.
The palm tree is cut at 2.6 inches from CAC. I doodled on everything with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens, and ran a ribbon through all the circles and VOILA! A cutie summer banner.
We have a prize for one lucky participant this week. They will win a $10 gift certificate for cut files from The Creative Pointe. LUCKY!
I hope you all pop over to Paper Playtime, see what the DT came up with, and play along with us :)
A challenge or two for my summery banner:
Come and Get It - anything goes
Dream Valley Challenges - summer
Pile It On - cute as can be
Robyn's Fetish - summer fun
Crafty Calendar - fun in the sun
Secret Crafter - bright and cheerfule
Polka Doodles - summer
Whimsy Inspirations - summer fun
Creative Craft Challenges - summer

Exploring Cricut - Disney challenge
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! If you are looking for my Cardz TV "anything goes" mini album post, then click HERE. This is my first of two posts today - it is challenge day over at Exploring Cricut. Today we were challenged to make a Disney project, Here is what I came up with:
Isn't it cute? I cut Bashful from Happily Ever After at 4 inches. He has some pretty small pieces, I am really glad I didn't cut him any smaller! The paper is mostly from Recollections, though there is a little bit of Bazzil thrown in there. The sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps Think Spring set. When I was looking through my Disney cartridges, I saw Bashful and was so excited that I had this sentiment in my collection. It is so perfect for this card. The buttons are from Walmart pack and I doodled around with my Sakura Jelly Roll pen.
I hope you all pop over to Exploring Cricut, see what the amazing DT came up with to inspire you, and play along with us!
A challenge or two for my cute little card:
One Stop Craft - just friends
Phindy's Place - button it
Do You Stack Up? - for a friend
Crafty Creations - buttons

Cardz TV Challenge - Anything Goes
Happy Friday everyone! This is my second post today - if you are looking for my PDE Challenge post, then click HERE. This is my first post as a member of the Cardz TV Stamps Design Team. I am so thrilled to be a part of this team! Mary's stamps are just amazing, and the team members are so creative!! Today Mary challenged us to make ANYTHING we wanted with her gorgeous stamps! Here is what I came up with - just a warning, this is a REALLY picture heavy post:
A few months ago, I took a class at my LSS The Cutting Garden, we learned how to make a 6x6 mini album that they called the Flip and Fold Album. I decided for my first Cardz TV DT post, I would make a mini of the people who light up my life, my hubby and kiddos. I think I may keep it in my locker at work, when I'm having a rough day, I can remind myself what it's all for. This is the cover page. The stamp is from It's All About You
Here is the first page and the back page. Gosh my babies were so little! The stamp is again from It's All About You - I used this set for all of the sentiments in the album. This particular stamp says "you're the best!".
Here is the first page laid out fully. The cardstock I used here is all from Bazzil.
Here is a close up of the last part of this page. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey. Isn't it stunning??
Once you flip open the middle page to the left, this is what the layout looks like. The close up of the first part of this page is just below.
Now you flip the middle page out to the right, and here is what the layout looks like now. Isn't this a fun little album??
Here is a close up of the middle page again - me and my hubby. The sentiment is from It's All About You. I just love that set :)
When you open the flaps on the left hand side, this is the layout. I forgot to take a close up of the centre page, but the sentiment says "you make me giggle" and the kids are making crazy faces :)
When you open the flaps on the right side of the page, this is what the layout looks like. I just love that picture of my girl on the far right of this page... The little gems that I used were all bought at the Dollar Store.
Here is a close-up of the centre of the page - they do make my world go round - even on the bad days :)
Here is the view of my album from the top. It is made with 6 sheets of cardstock and 1 sheet each of 2 different pieces of patterned paper. The original directions I got used more paper, and were kind of a mess, I was able to streamline them a bit. One of these days, I will have to type them up.
I hope you all pop over to CardzTV, see what the amazing DT came up with, and play along with us. The challenge will be open until next Thursday!
A challenge or two for my mini album:
Crafts and Me Challenge - anything goes
Simon Says Stamps - anything goes
Word Art Wednesday - use encouraging or uplifting sentiments
Shopping Our Stash - use something new - cardz tv stamps
Crafty Blogger Network - anything goes

Exciting News!!
Happy Tuesday everyone! I have some super exciting news today! Last week, while I was away at camp, Mary of Cardz TV announced the members of her Design Team for Cardz TV Stamps. I am thrilled to announce, that she chose me! I am so excited to be a part of the talented team of crafters that she has surrounded herself with, and I to work with her amazing stamps. She has a sentiment for every occasion. In my experience, they stamp beautifully and clean up perfectly!
In honor of this occasion, I spent some time in my craft room yesterday, playing with Mary's Stamps. I needed to make a card for my son. He is heading back to camp on Sunday, and I want him to have a card to open from us while he's there. Here is what I came up with:
The campfire is from Create A Critter. The cute little face is from Peachy Keen's Boy Mates stamp set. The paper is mostly recollections, though the patterned paper is from CTMH. The sentiment is from Mary's It's All About You stamp set. You can purchase this and all of Mary's sets HERE.
Be sure to check back often to see more of Mary's gorgeous stamps - in fact, I am using one in a project tomorrow - so pop back then :)

Exploring Cricut - Christmas in July Blog Hop
Happy Monday! If you are looking for my Paper Playtime - Say It With Sentiments card, please click HERE.
Welcome to the Exploring Cricut Christmas in July Blog Hop! If you have just arrived from Emily's Blog, then you are in the right spot. I am really excited about what I have created for you today! Let me show you:
It's an Advent Calendar. I got the idea on Pinterest. I saw a number of beautiful advent calendars and combined a few of them to create this.
The numbers are cut out of pretty much every font cartridge I have. There are 24 different fonts used, one for each of the numbers. The scalloped circles that I mounted the numbers on are from Storybook.
The envelopes are from TBBM. I cut them at 5.2 inches. I cut them out of lots of different Christmas papers, from lots of different companies including DCWV and K and Co.
The tags were cut from the Sweet Treats cartridge, cut at 2.9 inches on my Gypsy Girl. They fit almost perfectly in the little envelopes.
I decided to make this an activity calendar. Every day, the kids will pull an Christmas related activity that we will do as a family. The activities were printed on the computer.
We will keep the activities in an envelope, and the night before, Mike and I will decide what the next day's activity will be. After deciding, we will tape the activity to the tag. That way the activity will always be a surprise - because the tags are blank (no peeking by my nosy munchkins) and we can look at the weather, and the day and pick the perfect activity.
The next stop on our hop is Lori at Scrappin Saints so be sure to go see what she has created for you! Here is our blog hop schedule, just in case you get lost along the way.
A challenge or two for my project:
2 Sisters - christmas in july
Totally Gorjuss - it's christmas
Inspire me Fridays - anything goes
Jellypark Challenges - christmas in july
Our Craft Lounge - tag it
DL Art Thankful Thursday - christmas in july
ABC Christmas Challenge - N for not a card
Little Red Wagon - christmas in july
Creatalicious Challenges - christmas is july
Lollipop Crafts - christmas in july
Hooked on Crafts - christmas in july
My Mum's Craft Shop - no cards allowed
