Erin Go Braugh - Cricut Cardz

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It is challenge day over at Crafty Cardz Challenge.  Today Mary challenged us to create a card using ONLY WHITE, BLACK OR GREEN.  Here is what I came up with:

Isn't it super cute??  I used this adorable cut from Create a Critter 2 earlier this week, but I think they look REALLY different.  You can check out my other project HERE.  My little card is a 4x4 card.  the paper is all from Michaels, as is the ribbon.  I used my Swiss Dots embossing folder to emboss the bottom half of my card.  The doodling is all done with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "Happy Days".  This set was part of my most recent Cardz TV Stamps purchase, and I love how versatile it is - there is a sentiment for almost ANY occasion you could imagine here!!  You can buy your own set HERE.

The challenge starts today, and ends Tuesday March 26 at noon EST.  So hop on over to Cardz TV, and see what all the Cricut Cardz Challenge team came up with.  There might be a prize for one lucky winner...  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

St Patrick's Day - Exploring Cricut

Happy Monday everyone!!  It is challenge day over at Exploring Cricut.  We have a great challenge for you today! We are showcasing ST PATRICK'S DAY projects.  Here is what I came up with:

I decided to make my munchkins some little treat bags for St Patrick's Day.  I went on a quick hunt for green candy, but didn't have much luck.  They love Smarties, so that's what I grabbed.  The little toppers are 4 x 4 1/4, folded in half.  The little shamrocks are from Create a Critter 2 - I love that cartridge as much as the first!

I made 2 of them, as I have 2 kids, and just flipped the colors on each of them.  I doodles around with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens and stamped the cutie face with Peachy Keen's Happy Lashes, which you can find HERE.  The sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "Fun and Games", and you can pick up your own HERE.

Be sure to swing by Exploring Cricut and play along with us, you could win a great prize!  I can't wait to see what you find on your cartridges to inspire us.  Don't forget that there are new projects to inspire you every day on the blog, created by our amazing and talented Design Team.  I always love seeing what they create.

You Make Me Smile

Happy Sunday everyone!  I am popping on today to share a quick little project I made for the Cardz TV "It's So You" challenge, which has been going on since Friday.  My original Design Team post with all the details is right HERE.  The challenge is to make a project using your favorite colors - my favorite combo is white, black and pink.  Here is is:

Hello Kitty always makes me smile!  I love her.   This cut is from Hello Kitty Greetings.  The patterned paper is from an old K and Co valentine's day stack and the cardstock is all from Michaels.  I used my Cuttlebug embossing folder to make the spots.  The ribbon is from Michaels too.  The sentiment is from Cardz TVs "Good Friends" set.  I used it for Friday's card too - I am loving that set, like I said, I love the idea of creating little cards for the friends I don't see as much as I would like.   You can buy your own HERE.

The challenge is going on until Thursday March 21 at noon EST.  The winner will get a set of Cardz TV Stamps, so come and play with us!!

It's So You - Cardz TV Stamps

Happy Friday everyone!  It is challenge day over at Cardz TV!  I love these days, because I get to play with Mary's amazing stamps - I can always find the perfect sentiment, not matter the challenge!  Today Mary challenged us to create a  project using MY FAVORITE COLORS.  Here is what I came up with:

These days, my favorite color combo is black, white and pink.   The card stock on this card is all from Michaels.  The patterned paper is from an old K and Co Valentines paper pack.  The cute little dress on a hanger is from the Paisley cartridge.  The ribbon is from Michaels and I did a bit of doodling around with my Sakura Jelly Roll pen.  Now, on to the sentiment...

A couple of weeks ago, I did some shopping over at Cardz TV Stamps.  I picked up four new stamp sets!  Good Friends was one of them.  I have had this set on my wish list for a while.  I love these sentiments!  I have so many girlfriends that I don't see often - with jobs, and kids we just don't seem to find the time, unless we pre-plan.  I love the idea of sending them cards, saying "let's do lunch" or "you make me smile"... you get the idea.

Our challenge starts today and finshes Thursday March 21st at noon EST.  One lucky participant will win a set of Cardz TV Stamps of their very own!  Hop on over to Cardz TV, see what all my talented DT sisters came up with to inspire you, and play along with us.  One lucky person will win a set of Cardz TV Stamps of their very own.  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

For the Boys - Pause Dream Enjoy

Happy Monday everyone!  It is challenge day over at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges.  Today, Janis challenged us to make a project FOR A BOY!!  Now, I have been making Christmas tags for all my PDE projects, and I had a tag designed on my Gypsy girl - unfortunately, I got sick last week, and it just never got cut out.  I decided to showcase a layout I made for my son's album.  Here is what I came up with:

The pages are from a visit we made to Cornerbrook about 6 years ago - I am shockingly behind on my scrapbooking - The paper is all from Close to my Heart, and is based on a sketch from one their books.  I cut the title out with my Cricut - it is pretty simple all the way around.

I will be back with Christmas tags for my next challenge.  Please hop over to Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges, see what the rest of the talented design team came up with, and play along with us.  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

A challenge or two:
