Pets - Paper Playtime

For my Pause Dream Enjoy Ribbon project click HERE.

Happy Monday everyone!  This year, Janis has decided to have both her challenge blogs post on the same day - Monday.  She has designed the challenges, so that those of us on both design teams can submit the same project for the 2 challenges.  Wasn't that nice of her?  However I have decided that I will try to do two different projects for each blog.  My PDE projects are going to be mostly Christmas tags and I want my Paper Playtime projects to be a bit more varied.

Today, at Paper Playtime, Janis challenged us to make a project showcasing PETS!!  Here is what I came up with:

A traditional pet?  Certainly not, but I have a 10 year old son, who has spent plenty of time trying to convince me, that  frog is a PERFECT pet!  So far, I have managed to not gain a frog :)   The frog is from Create a Critter and the mat is from Elegant Edges.  The paper is a mix of an old Provo Craft pad I got with my original Cricut about 6 years ago, and old Creative Memories - I am such a paper hoarder!!!  The ribbon is from Michaels and the buttons are from Walmart.  The sentiment is from Cardz TVs "Toad-ally Awesome" tamp set.

Please hop over to Paper Playtime, see what the rest of the Design Divas came up with, and play along with us.  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Absolutely hilarious sentiment!!!! And love the frog! (I am also a paper hoarder and I think I have some of that same CM paper lying around...) Glad you have remained strong and managed NOT to acquire a frog. My boys would also think a frog would be a great pet, lol ;)

This is really cute!! Love the sentiment!
My kids have pet frogs every spring... they stay in a bucket --outside!!-- for a couple of days until I feel sorry for the frogs and make them let them go. :)

haha! My son used to always try to talk me into a frog also! I wouldn't have had a problem with it if all frogs looked as cute as the one on your card :) Great card and sentiment!
