The Marvelous Momo!!

So, yesterday when I was desperately trying to find a box for my card gift sets, I emailed Momo. I knew I had seen a video on her blog (you can find her button on the right hand side of my blog). On that video, I saw her make an easy, but sweet card box, and I couldn't find it!

Well, the sweet and wonderful Momo emailed me back and gave me a link to her video. I watched it and quickly knocked out 4 cute card boxes for some of the people at Andrew's school. Here are some pictures of the boxes! I love how they turned out. Over the next few days, I will post the 5 different cards I made for the boxes. I think they all turned out beautifully - and I used the Create a Critter cartirdge, my new favorite, for each card. So stay tuned...

Thanks again to Momo, for helping with the box!

Ugh!

So I am home today, sick to my stomach. Fun! Fun! i have lots of crafting to do - gifts for my son's teachers and the girls from his cafeteria. Some of it really needs to be done by tomorrow, the girls in the cafeteria won't be working next week. I have all the cards made, I just need to make little boxes for them. Hopefully I will feel better later this afternoon, and I will be able to get the work done.

This cute little card uses the Doodlecharms cricut cartirdge. I used the border feature to get all three icecreams. I turned it into a gift card, and adhered a card for one of DS's friends inside. i was really pleased with how they turned out. I made 3 of the borders, and used them to make 3 different cards. 2 boys versions and one girl version. After all, who doesn't love ice cream??

I will take pictures of all the cards I made for gifts, and I must go scour Made by Momo's blog, to try to find a video I am sure she made of a card box. Off to hunt the web.

Not really crafting - but close enough...

So I know it's not scrapbooking or cardmaking related, but it is still crafty :) This is the cake I made for my son's birthday. He chose the Spiderman cake, and I was really excited about how it turned out. These cakes are work! They drive me slightly insane, but in the end they are cute, and the kids love them, which makes it all worth it! This one only took a couple of hours. The Abby Cadabby I made for my daughters birthday was much, much harder.

Tonight I might get some crafting in, but I need to make some cookies with my son, go for a run, get dinner together and go to Walmart, and it is almost 3 pm. Not much hope, is there??

Not quite the next day...

So I didn't get a chance to post "the next day" - I know we're all shocked... These are goody bags that I made for my son's party. I used Robotz Cricut cartridge, and My Pink Stamper stamps. Didn't they turn out cute?? He was so excited about his party. There were both boys and girls there, so I made a boy robot and a girl robot. I love how they looked!!

I made 13 of them as you can see. I just love this Robotz cartridge! There are, however, about a million pieces for each robot. They were slightly complex to put together, but were so fun. I pop dotted them off the little topper so they would stand out. Filled them with candy, and they were ready to enjoy!

I have made a couple of other cute cards in the past few weeks, I will try to post them in the next few days.

Crafting fun!

So finally I had some time to get some crafting done. I have even had a chance to figure out my gypsy a little bit! These cards are ones I made for my son's birthday back at the end of april. i used the new Robotz cartridge, which I love!! These were copied almost exactly from the inside of the cartridge handbook, but I think they are really cute!

I also did some goody bags. I will post pics of them tomorrow. I know, amazing that I would post 2 days in a row!! We'll all believe it when we see it, right?

Last of four

I work a four on 5 off rotation, and tonight is my last of four - my favorite shift of the work week :) Sadly it is National Scrapbook Day and many of my favorite bloggers have busy days of crafting planned, and I will miss it all. Oh well - the job pays for all the crafting supplies, doesn't it?

The card I am posting today, was actaully designed by my DD. It was a card for her little friend who lives up near our cottage. The stamps are MFT and the paper is SU. She picked the image, what she wanted it to say, and then colored it. I thought it was so cute!

Gotta get ready for work.
