Life Looks Beautiful on You

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It's challenge day over at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a FANCY FOLDS project. Here is what I created.

I decided to make an "S - fold card" which is not that fancy I guess, but I still love how it turned out!  I am obsessed with the SU set "Beautiful You", it is GORGEOUS!!  I decided to watercolor the pretty lady.  The patterned paper is all from PhotoPlay's "Vintage Girl" paper pack.  Loving it!!

Die Cuttin Divas - Easter

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas!  Today's challenge is EASTER.  I can't wait to show you what I created.

I have been working at using my Cricut more this year.  I pull it out every winter, to make Christmas Tags, and then stop using it.  In an attempt to use what I have, I have been exploring some of my favorite cartridges, to find ways to use them more.  Teddy Bear Parade, was always one of my favorites!  

I love this adorable Easter Bunny Bear!  She is purple, because it is my daughter's favorite colour.  The sentiment I used is from CTV Stamps "Happy Days" stamp set.  It's a great set, with SO many possibilities.

Die Cuttin Divas - Flowers

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas!  Today's challenge is FLOWERS.  I can't wait to show you what I created.

I seem to be loving sloths these days!  They are too cute.  These little guys are from MFT's "Sweet Sloths", and I cut them out using my PixScan mat and Silhouette.  I colored them with my PrismaColor pencils and Gamsol.  

The cut out in the card, is from MFTs Wonky Window.  The paper in the background with the clouds, is a free digital paper.

From the Whole Herd

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It's challenge day over at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create an ANYTHING GOES project. Here is what I created.

So, I love this set from MFT!  It's called the Whole Herd and it's SO fun!  I cut all my cows with my Pix Scan mat and my Silhouette.  I colored them with my PrismaColor pencils.  The background is Salty Ocean Distress Oxide, flicked with some water.

DCD - March Sketch

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas!  Today's challenge is SKETCH CHALLENGE.  I can't wait to show you what I created.

I live in a world surrounded by Montreal Canadiens fans.  Next month, my son turns 16.  For girls, this is a big deal, and I wanted it to be something special for Andrew too.  So, tomorrow morning, he will open this card, and (if Mother Nature is kind to us and doesn't kill us with snow) he and my husband will be flying to Montreal, to fulfill a life long dream for both of them.  They will be watching a Montreal-Pittsburgh game on Thursday night!!  I hope to video tape the moment he realizes it.  If I do, I will post it here...

Here is the video!!  

So, the card... The plane and hockey player are both from the Silhouette Store.  The Canadiens symbol, I found online and converted in Silhouette Studio.  The stamp set is from Craftin Desert Divas, "All Star Sports" - an oldie, but a goodie!

Die Cuttin Divas - Use Some Green

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas!  Today's challenge is USE GREEN.  I can't wait to show you what I created.

As you can probably tell, I love to make little card sets.  I decided to make these cute green creatures from Create a Critter.  I found some cute sentiments to go along with them.  The dinosaur sentiment is from Joy's Life "Lots of Pun" set.  All the others are from an old set I bought years ago online.  I don't remember what they're called.  They haven't been available for years.
