I Love Books

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create an ANYTHING BUT A CARD  project. Here is what I created.

I made a bookmark!  I took one of these adorable Reading Kids from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons and welded it to a rectangle shape in my Silhouette Studio.  I added the "I love Books" and voila!

Joy Tag

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a TAG project. Here is what I created.

It's about that time of year...  I need to get cracking on my Christmas Tags!  Every year, I make hundreds of tags, and give them away as teacher gifts, hostess gifts, bus driver gift - you name it.  This is the first of those for this year.  This one is very simple.  I created a watercolour background, stamped on it and used some gold Stickles for the halo.  Easy peasy :)

Happy Halloween!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It is my day to share a project over on the PPPR blog.  I am so excited to show you the project I created with Lisa's cute files!!

Confession time - I do not like Halloween very much - even as a little girl, it wasn't really my thing.  My kids though, LOVE Halloween.  So, I try to find cute Halloween things for them.

I LOVE this adorable candy corn guy.  He cut so easily and is just TOO cute!  I decided to make a simple card, focusing on the cute image.  You can find him HERE.

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create a CARD project. Here is what I created:

I just LOVE this cute whale!!  I decided to keep the card pretty simple, so I could showcase the whale.  I love how the embossing looks a bit like waves.  The Whale is a cut from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  You can find him HERE.

The sentiment is from CDDs Under the Sea set, and it is on a tag using the Tag It set and SVGs.  Tara's wonderful stamps can be found HERE.

Sunshiny Day

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Miss Janis, challenged us to create an ANYTHING GOES project. Here is what I created:

A while ago, I bought this cute "Sunshiny Day" stamp set from Pretty Cute Stamps.  I decided to make some simple cards with them.  I used my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol to colour in the sun, and used different sentiments from the stamp set.

Isn't he ca-ute??!!  He was SO easy to cut, and I think I love him... I love the great autumn colours that he is in and how can you resist that cute face?
