Joy Banner - Exploring Cricut

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope everyone is getting ready for Christmas.  The challenge this week over at Exploring Cricut is to create a Christmas project using your Cricut.  Here is what I came up with:

I find banners really hard to photograph, despite my best efforts - they are either too dark, to bright or just a mix of dark and light - so I took a pic of each panel.

The cute little reindeer here is from Create a Critter 2.  I did some doodling with my Sakura Jelly Roll pen.

I cut each of the letters from Once Upon a Princess.  I just love the font they have on that - I wish it had a lower-case alphabet too...

The base of the banner is cut from Birthday Bash - the banner bases on that cartridge are AWESOME!!  They are the easiest things to put together!

The paper is a mix of Bazzil and Recollections.  The ribbon is from Michaels.  The little gingerbread guy below, is from Create a Critter 2.

I hope you like my cute little banner - I love making them, they are so fun :)  Pop over to Exploring Cricut, see what the rest of the design team came up with, and play along with us!!  Be sure to visit every day, there is always something inspirational there!

A challenge or two for my cute little banner:
Anything but a Card - seasonal holiday
Come and Get It - anything christmas
Dream Valley Challenges - christmas
Live and Love Crafts - anything but a card
Pretty Little Ribbon Shop - it's christmas plus a ribbon
Really Reasonable Ribbon - anything goes plus a ribbon
Fussy and Fancy - tags and banners
Do You Stack Up - christmas
Creative Moments - anything but a card

A la prochaine...

  14. I also use Birthday Bash for my banners. They are the best cuts for a banner.
