So, onto my project. I decided to do a scrapbook page. I am SO far behind in my scrapbooking, and I knew I had some Star Wars pictures. Here is what I came up with:
The blue background paper is from CTMH, the cardstock is all from Michaels. I used Robotz for the title - it is my favorite chunky font, and the bottom title is from Alphalicious. The light sabres, and R2D2, I created on my Gypsy. They are made with George and Basic Shapes all welded together. Cricut doesn't have any Star Wars things - as far as I know - so I tried to make my own - I am pretty happy with how they turned out :)
This is the second page of my two page spread - as you can see, my daughter was a kitty cat that year - not exactly in keeping with the Star Wars theme - but she looked adorable. Andrew even tried out his super powers on a neighbor while trick or treating. The patterned paper is CTMH and the cardstock is from Michales. I punched a couple of stars out of the red paper with an old CM punch, and made two more light sabres, using George and Basic Shapes.
Andrew was thrilled when he saw the page I made, he loved my R2D2, so do I :) I was wishing I had a different die cutting machine, so I could take advantage of all those awesome files that are out there, but I managed to make something using what I have!
I have a small stamp set to give away as Blog Candy today. In order to win it, please leave a comment and a way for me to reach you, and become a follower, if you aren't already.
Thanks for visiting today, and may the force be with you :)
A la prochaine...
