Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon Guest Designer

Happy Friday everyone!!  I am SO excited to be a guest designer for Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons today.  I had the hardest time narrowing down the SVG files I was going to work with - they have the cutest files in their store!  I love the cards I created and am really excited to share them with you.

My first creation:

This card uses the new Baking Fun SVGs.  I love each of the cute cuts in this set - the mixer cut like butter and was so easy to out together!  Don't you love her cute face??  You can find this file HERE.

I was trying to decide the right sentiment to use on this card, and then I thought of the perfect one.  I found it on CDD's Baked With Love set.

On to creation number two:

There was something about these laughing flowers that just spoke to me,  I love how cheerful they are!  I know there aren't a lot of purple roses around, but purple is my daughter's favorite color and this card is for her.  The rose is from Flower Faces file.  You can buy the file HERE.

The sentiment for this card is from Craftin Desert Divas Blooming for you set.  The cardstock I used on both cards, is a mix of Recollection and some old Cricut paper.  the patterned paper is from an old stack I bought at Michaels years ago - trying to use up my stash...

I loved being a Guest Designer this week!!  I encourage you all to head over to Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons and check out all her cute files!  HERE is a link to her store.

Baseball Fever

Hi everyone, it's my day to share a project over at Craftin Desert Divas.  I have a super cute shape card to share with you today.  Of course, I used one of Tara's amazing stamp sets to create my project!
Today is Throwback Thursday.  Any projects shared on the Craftin Desert Divas blog on Thursdays, will use one of Tara's older stamp sets.  I have been having SO much fun, choosing the sentiments for my TBT projects.

I LOVE how this project turned out!!  I stamped the sentiment with my VersaMark and embossed the sentiment with some white embossing powder.  Doesn't it look great?!

The baseball cap is from SVG Cutting Files, and of course it is a Toronto Blue Jays cap.  We all went to a Blue Jays game last spring on our family trip to Toronto.  It was so much fun and made life long fans out of my kids.

I used the All Star Sport stamp set to create this project.  This is a great set for all your sports and games related projects.  You can buy your own in the Craftin Desert Divas Shop HERE.

Be sure to stop by Craftin Desert Divas everyday.  There is always something going on, from Linky Parties, to Blog Hops, from Stamp Releases to Daily Inspiration!  See you there :)

If Friends Were Flowers

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I am back with another springy card, in the hopes that winter might loosen her grip one of these days!!  Making springy projects is at least giving me hope...  I decided to use Blooming For You again, from Craftin Desert Divas.  It is perfect for all of those spring projects.  Here it is:

Now, anyone who visits my blog regularly will know that I love me some Hello Kitty!!  As soon as I saw this sentiment, I thought of this cut from my Hello Kitty Greetings cricut cartridge.  I think she is perfect for this card.  The cardstock is from Recollections, the patterned paper from an old stack.  I embossed the pink paper with a Sizzix Embossing folder.  The ribbon is from Michaels and the enamel dots are from Michaels and SU.

The sentiment, which I just LOVE, is from Craftin Desert Divas "Blooming for You" set.  I love each sentiment in the set.  It is definitely giving me hope that spring may come again.

I'll be back tomorrow with my "Throwback Thursday" Craftin Desert Divas post.  I love the set I used, so be sure to come back and check it out!

Use Some Green

Happy Monday everyone!  We are mid-way through the Linky Party over at Craftin Desert Divas and it is Team B's Day to inspire you.  Tara challenged us to create a project with lots of GREEN.  Here is what I created:

I decided to make another set of Christmas Tags.  I give away so many as gifts during the Christmas season, that it only makes sense to create them during the year, so that is what I have been doing.  This set uses the Tag It sets SVG and stamp for the base of the tag.  The Christmas tree is from SVG Cutting Files Kawaii Christmas set.  The sentiment is from Simply Christmas.

You can buy both these fabulous stamp sets in the Craftin Desert Divas Store.

I hope you all come play with us!  There is still one week left to link up.  We have 2 amazing sponsors for this Linky Party:

1 stamp set of the winners choice

$25 in regular price files

I can't wait to see what you create!!

A challenge or two for my tags:
4 Crafty Chicks - green
Double Click Skittles - use some green
Inspiration Destination - anything goes
All Crafts - anything but a card
Artistic Impressions  - anything goes with a twist of green
Anything But a Card - green with envy

Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone, it's my day to share a project over at Craftin Desert Divas.  I have a super cute birthday gift set to share with you today.  Of course, I used two of Tara's amazing stamp sets to create my project!   Not only is it Animal Week, but it's Throwback Thursday!
So, I created some fun projects that include and animal AND used some of Tara's older stamp sets.  I can't wait to show you!  Here it is:

Don't you love it??!!  My niece turned 4 this weekend, and like a smart girl, she is obsessed with Hello Kitty, so I created her a custom birthday gift set.  The Hello Kitty's are both from my Hello Kitty Greeting Cricut Cartridge.  The cardstock is from Recollections and the patterned paper is from an old strack from Michaels.

I found the perfect sentiments on Happy Celebrations.  Below, you can see both the card, and a close up of the tag, so you check out the great fonts, and the lovely stamp I used for the tag!

I used the Happy Celebrations and Tag It stamp sets to create this project.  You can buy your own in the Craftin Desert Divas Shop HERE.

Thanks a Bunch

Happy Tuesday all!  I am SO over winter!  We have inches of ice on our streets and the snow seems to be never ending.  I have decided I need to pull myself out of the funk by making some spring cards.  I just recently got my hands on Craftin Desert Divas "Blooming For You" stamp set.  it is PERFECT for spring cards!!  Here is what I created today.

I am loving this pretty flower pot card.  I found it in the Silhouette Store #8696.  The paper is Recollections, or from my scrap box.  I inked the edges of the flowers with my Distress Inks.  The sentiment is from Blooming for You, and I think it is perfect with this cute little flower pot.  There are some awesome sentiments on this set, I know you will love it!

I'll be back soon with another springy project.  This winter has to be over soon, right??

I Love You S'more

Happy Friday everyone!  I'm back today to share another summer card, cause I am SO done with this awful winter!!  I am sharing another card that I created for my kids when they go to camp.  I really loved the "I love you s'more" sentiment from CDD's The Great Outdoors stamp set, but as the mum of two, you know I had to make one for each of them.  Here they are:

Cute aren't they??  I embossed the base with a Sizzix wood grain embossing folder.  The little s'mores are from SVG Cutting Files Kawaii Smore file.  Here's a close up of the pink card, so you can see all the details.

The little dots are from SU and the paper is a mix of Recollections and CTMH.  The ribbon is from Michaels.  My fabulous sentiment is from CDD "The Great Outdoors" set.  It has some really fabulous sentiments on it.

I am sure my munchkins will love getting this cute card while they are away at camp!  Have a great weekend.
