Happy Harvest

Happy Monday everyone!  We are mid-way through the Linky Party over at Craftin Desert Divas and it is Team B's Day to inspire you.  Tara challenged us to create a BROWN AND ORANGE  project.  Here is what I created:

My daughter and I made a batch of Pumpkin Apple Muffins and decided to give some to our neighbors as a thank you for taking care of our home while we were away.  I decided to make a cute little tag to go along with our yummy muffins.  The acorn is from Create a Critter 2, and the tag is from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More.  The cutie face is from Peachy Keen Stamps "In The Garden" set.  The chevron embossing folder is from Stampin Up, as are the little dots.  The patterned paper is from CTMH and the cardstock is from Recollections.  It was fun pulling out my Cricut again!

The sentiment is from Hey Pumpkin.  You can buy your own at the Craftin Desert Divas Store.

Wise Men Seek Him

Hi everyone, it's my day to post over on Craftin Desert Divas and I have a super cute tag to share with you today.  Of course, I used one of Tara's amazing stamp sets to create my project!  Here it is:

I just LOVE how this tag turned out, and I love how perfectly the sentiment works with it.  The tag shape is from the Silhouette Store #35733 - although I manipulated the dimensions a little bit.  The manger is from My Scrap Chick's Nativity Set.  I inked around the papers with some Tim H0ltz Distress Inks.   The patterned paper is old Creative Memories, I found it in my stash, the cardstock is CTMH, SU and Recollections.  The ribbon is from my LSS.

I masked off the majority of the stamp to isolate the sentiment I wanted to showcase. Masking the stamp was so much easier than I imagined and I think it shows just how versatile this set is!! Below is a close up of the sentiment, so you can see how perfect the font is.

Toxic Treats

Happy Saturday everyone!  It is my day to post a project over at the Cardz TV Gallery.  There is a new project there every day but Sunday.  You can find cards, layouts, 3-D projects, anything crafty!  Here is what I have to share today:

I made these cute little treat bags for my kids yesterday.  Halloween is not an event I am fond of, but my munchkins love it.  I found these candy corn skulls at KadoodleBug Designs.  I love that there was a girl and a boy one, one for each child.  The little enamel dots are from Stampin Up.  The perfect sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps new Halloween stamp set Frankly Frightful.

Christmas Cutlery

Happy Thursday everyone.  It's my day to share a project over at Craftin Desert Divas.  I have a super cute decor item to share with you today.  Of course, I used one of Tara's amazing stamp sets to create my project!  Here it is:

Every year during advent, we do an activity every day to celebrate the season.  We do a couple of theme meals - like eat a "Red, White and Green" meal or "Breakfast for Dinner".  I decided that these little cutlery holders would be the perfect addition to our table on one of those nights.

As soon as I saw the "Noel" sentiment on the Simply Christmas set, I knew I had to use it for something, and this was the perfect stamp for this project!  I needed a small sentiment, because I didn't have much space, and my kids are in French Immersion, so having the sentiment in french was just an added bonus.  And did you notice how GORGEOUS the font is???  Below is a close up of the sentiment, so you can see how beautiful the script is.

And now for my project....

I love making tags for Christmas, every gift we share has a home made tag on it.  These tags are cute from Plantin Schoolbook at 4 inches.  I stamped the word art from Simply Holiday Wordart.  It fit perfectly on the tag.  I coloured it the little images.  The paper is from Recollections and the patterned paper is from My Minds Eye.  The ribbon is from my Local Scrapbooking Store.  Here is a close up of my tag:

Here is my sneak peek...

I am so happy with how this card turned out!  I inked the night sky with some Tim Holtz Distress Inks, I masked off the snow and the moon and used some masking fluid to create the snow flakes.  The manger silhouette is from the Silhouette Store.  The stamp is from Simply Holidays Word Art.  Isn't it fabulous?!
